Who We Are

More Than a Church. A Family on a Mission.

Second Timothy Baptist Church is a small, growing congregation in the heart of Springfield, Illinois — named for the Apostle Paul's charge to Timothy: "Preach the Word. Be ready in season and out of season."

Under the leadership of Rev. Gary L. Holman, we are in a season of intentional renewal — deepening our roots in Scripture, strengthening our character as a community, and opening our doors wider to our neighbors.
